How to complain

This page explains how to raise concerns about Book Leaves. We are operated by Webedia GmbH. We are not regulated by IPSO or another press complaints body; we handle editorial complaints through our own process described below.

Editorial content and accuracy

If you notice a factual inaccuracy that does not concern you personally, or you have a general concern about an item, email editorial@bookleaves.com with a link to the piece and a clear description of the issue. For corrections specifically, see Corrections and clarifications.

If a story concerns you personally — for example accuracy, privacy or how you have been portrayed — email editorial@bookleaves.com with:

• the URL or headline and publication date;
• what you believe is wrong or unfair;
• the outcome you are seeking (for example a correction or clarification); and
• your name and a contact email we can reply to.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within a reasonable time and to investigate in good faith. Where we agree a significant error has occurred, we will correct or clarify as set out on the Corrections page. Our standards are described in the Editorial policy.

Technical problems

If something on the website is broken or inaccessible, email info@bookleaves.com with the page URL, device/browser if known, and a short description of what went wrong.

Privacy and cookies

For data-protection rights requests or privacy concerns, contact info@bookleaves.com. See the Privacy policy. To change cookie choices, use Cookie settings in the site footer or read the Cookie policy.

Advertising and commercial content

Questions about ads, paid partnerships or labelling: info@bookleaves.com. See also Advertise. Marketing communications are subject to applicable ASA rules; you may also raise concerns with the Advertising Standards Authority where relevant.

What we do not claim

Unlike some UK news brands, we do not claim membership of IPSO or adherence to a regulator’s Editors’ Code as an IPSO-regulated publisher. If you are dissatisfied after our internal process, you may seek independent legal advice or, for data-protection matters, complain to the ICO.
